Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of care in the Emergency Department
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license (must be provided at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience in a hospital setting
• Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Current PALS certification through the American Heart Association
• Current NRP and TNCC certifications through the American Heart Association (all certifications must be provided at time of submission)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Experience working in a community hospital environment
