Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine, stroke, and trauma MRI studies in a two-scanner radiology department averaging 25–30 scans per day

• Conduct patient transport, preparation, and safety screening prior to imaging

• Start IVs and administer contrast as required for applicable studies

• Navigate and document within Epic EMR and McKesson PACS

• Perform clerical duties associated with department workflow and patient throughput

• Operate GE MRI equipment in compliance with department protocols and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience

• Active ARRT (MR) certification

• Active BLS certification

• Active Illinois state license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated

• Ability to pass a drug screen; position is located on a drug-free campus

• IV start competency required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience operating GE MRI scanners

• Familiarity with Epic EMR and McKesson PACS platforms

• Experience in a high-volume radiology environment performing trauma and stroke imaging
