Respiratory Therapist / Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Every other weekend and every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a pediatric hospital setting, including children's NICU and cardiac PICU environments
• Deliver patient care in accordance with established clinical protocols and scope of practice
• Participate in self-scheduling model in coordination with unit management
• Float within scope of practice to other areas within the facility as needed
• Complete required orientation modules and maintain accurate documentation in Epic

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Minimum Level 4 NICU experience required
• Valid Virginia state license required; pending license accepted provided a temporary license can be obtained before start date (must hold another active state license to be eligible for temporary licensure)
• Epic EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification preferred
• Cardiac PICU experience preferred
