Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to oncology patients within a dedicated women's cancer center setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for oncology patients
• Administer medications, chemotherapy, and other treatments in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate changes in condition to the care team promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing, eligible to practice in North Carolina
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in oncology
• Current BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required per facility standards
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced oncology environment
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills specific to oncology patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a women's cancer center or gynecologic oncology setting
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Chemotherapy Biotherapy certification preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience in an acute care or specialty oncology environment
