Interventional Radiology Technologist – Rapid Response

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 6-Week Assignment | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Alternating shifts: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM and 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, four or five 10-hour shifts per week | 48 hours guaranteed | On-call required: 1 night per week and 1 rotating weekend per month with possible holiday coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Interventional Radiology procedures within a high-volume, fast-paced IR lab environment across 5 IR suites
• Operate Siemens bi-plane and single-plane imaging equipment during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Support Neuro Interventional procedures including stroke interventions, aneurysm treatment, and subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) cases within a Comprehensive Stroke Center
• Assist with Level 1 Trauma Center procedures including GI bleeds, embolizations, gastrostomy tubes, and nephrostomy placements
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR and GE Centricity PACS systems
• Fulfill on-call responsibilities including nights and rotating weekends as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
• Active ARRT RT(R) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced interventional lab with a strong team-oriented approach

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Neuro Interventional procedures including strokes, aneurysms, and SAH
• Expert knowledge of Vascular Interventional Radiology procedures with the ability to perform with minimal guidance
