Schedule / Job Type
Contract (Travel) | Days, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 6-Week Assignment | Rapid Response (48-Hour Start)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub technologist duties within a high-volume operating room environment across a 14-OR suite
- Support surgical procedures including orthopedic, joint, spine, neuro, and transplant cases
- Function as a 1:1 scrub technologist per OR in collaboration with the surgical and nursing team
- Maintain accountability for surgical instrumentation, sterile field integrity, and patient safety throughout procedures
- Participate in call coverage as required and demonstrate flexibility with day and evening hours as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- NBSTSA certification required and must be included in submission packet
- DORA (Colorado) certification required and must be included in submission packet
- Demonstrated orthopedic and joint experience is required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Level I trauma center experience
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
