Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 4x12 / 48-hour option also available | On-call and weekend rotation as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit in a large acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry readings, and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float between like units or campuses within the system as needed
• Participate in on-call coverage and weekend rotation as required by unit scheduling
• Adhere to all facility compliance, credentialing, and documentation requirements throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a valid Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) license — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience (strictly enforced); 3+ years preferred
• At least one completed prior travel nursing assignment
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates are not eligible)
• Willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if all three fall within the assignment period, or at least 1 if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of initial submission; RTO submitted after an offer is made cannot be guaranteed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3+ years of RN experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Experience in a large hospital environment
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records
• BSN degree (required only for specific unit types; ADN accepted for this position)
