Key Responsibilities

• Review patient needs and conditions to deliver direct and appropriate nursing care within the assigned unit.
• Analyze patient information, including medical history, diagnostic results, and current condition, to develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Prepare and execute nursing processes including medication administration and treatments to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Reconcile medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions and identify additional interventions needed to meet defined goals of care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective and coordinated care planning.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a compact state — license must be in hand at time of submission.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS (CPR) certification through American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
• EPIC electronic health records experience required.
• Must pass an EKG exam during compliance (Pass/Fail; 2 attempts allowed — candidate should prepare independently prior to submission).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• 1 year of experience in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
