Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 6:00 AM – 6:15 PM | 8-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and clinical judgment in the anticipation and planning for safe patient care delivery
- Manage and monitor patients requiring ventilator and tracheostomy care, central line management, and telemetry monitoring
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and professional development
Required Qualifications
- Active Colorado RN license or multi-state compact RN license
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience; 2–5 years preferred
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Demonstrated experience with ventilator and tracheostomy management
- Knowledge of central line care and management
- Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:6
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with wound care assessment and management
- Prior travel nursing experience in an LTAC or telemetry setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in long-term acute care environments
