Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift, 10-Hour Shifts (0700–1730) | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of interventional radiology and vascular procedures including biopsies, drains, tunneled lines, and embolizations (prostate and UFE)
• Assist with PE management, GI bleeds, peripheral vascular diagnostic angiograms, angioplasties, and stenting using femoral and radial approaches
• Support advanced vascular procedures including TCAR, endovascular AAA repairs, thrombectomies, and fistulograms
• Participate in IR/vascular on-call rotation, approximately 10–12 call days per month, requiring availability within 45 minutes of the facility
• Adhere to holiday coverage requirements as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of IR/Special Procedures experience; new graduates will not be considered
• At least one prior travel contract in Interventional Radiology or Vascular required
• Demonstrated proficiency in IR/PV/Vascular procedures including PE interventions
• Active Illinois Radiologic Technology License
• ARRT certification required
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Extensive hands-on experience across a wide spectrum of vascular and interventional procedures in a high-volume setting
• Strong adaptability and independent clinical judgment consistent with travel assignment experience
