Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Tech

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 13 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and in-procedural duties in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology settings
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment during interventional and special procedures
• Assist with a variety of IR and Cath Lab procedures in accordance with facility protocols
• Assume on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis, including call every fourth weekend and one day per week
• Participate in holiday call rotation as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training from an AMA-approved program
• Current Ohio state radiologic technology license
• Active ARRT registration
• Current CPR certification
• Demonstrated scrub experience in Cath Lab and/or IR procedures
• Ability to meet physical requirements including standing and walking frequently, bending and reaching frequently, and pushing, pulling, or lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in interventional radiology and/or Cath Lab procedural settings
• Familiarity with radiation safety practices and radiology training protocols
• Experience operating fluoroscopy equipment independently
