Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Day Shifts | Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) required | Holiday rotation included

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit with a focus on neuro telemetry, including patients with CVA/TIA, subdural conditions, and seizure disorders
• Deliver post-operative care for surgical oncology patients recovering from procedures such as Whipple surgeries, esophagectomies, and colon resections (no chemotherapy administration)
• Care for vascular surgery patients post-peripheral angiogram, including those with PAD-related wounds and status-post amputations
• Float to general Medical/Surgical unit as needed
• Participate in assigned holiday rotation, including one minor and one major holiday per contract period

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of relevant RN experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• Travel nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Specialized experience in neuro telemetry nursing
• Background in surgical oncology or vascular surgery post-operative care
• Experience with telemetry management; reference from a Telemetry manager within the past year preferred
