Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, evening shift (5x8-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities
• Perform MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and patient safety protocols.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
• Adhere to facility policies, including VA or compact state licensure requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EPIC electronic health record system.
• Float within scope of practice as needed to support different departments.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience.
• Valid VA or compact state licensure at the time of submission.
• EPIC charting experience is required.
• Ability to work evening shifts (3 PM – 11 PM).
• Must include SSN, DOB, address, phone, and email at submission.
• Candidates must be able to start with confirmed licensure and credentials, with no pending background or fingerprinting results.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience with all hospital modules, including orientation modules on the VCU Learning Exchange.
• Flexibility to float within scope if needed, with no radius restrictions for applicants.

• New staff will be assigned modules during orientation, which must be completed by the Friday of the orientation week.
