Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 guaranteed hours per week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult psychiatric patients in an acute inpatient setting accepting both voluntary and involuntary admissions
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status using the HCS charting system
• Collaborate with ancillary support staff, including CNAs and BHTs, to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
• Float between Adult and Geriatric psychiatric units as needed
• Participate in general and floor orientation prior to independent assignment
• Work every other weekend and maintain scheduling flexibility with limited RTO

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in North Carolina
• Minimum of 1 year of acute psychiatric nursing experience
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required
• Must currently reside in or be on assignment in North Carolina, as fingerprinting must be completed in-state prior to start
• Willingness to float between Adult and Geriatric psychiatric units

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-census acute psychiatric hospital environment
• Familiarity with the HCS electronic charting system
• Experience working with both adult and geriatric psychiatric populations
