Travel CST – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM | Variable Call Schedule | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scrub technologist duties within a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting
  • Assist surgical teams during cardiovascular procedures by preparing and passing instruments and supplies?
  • Adhere to facility scheduling policies, including rotation of every other weekend and holidays with hospital staff
  • Participate in a variable on-call schedule as required by the facility
  • Maintain sterile field integrity and follow all infection control and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

  • Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of surgical technologist experience
  • Experience in cardiovascular or CVOR surgical settings
  • Ability to work a variable call schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Compliance with facility dress code (Ciel Blue scrubs for surgical staff)

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior travel contract experience in a surgical or CVOR environment
  • Familiarity with large acute care hospital settings
