Key Responsibilities

• Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and dobutamine stress echocardiograms in accordance with established practices and procedures
• Assist in transesophageal echocardiography procedures
• Provide preliminary diagnostic evaluations and notify cardiologists of examination results
• Consult with cardiologists to establish requirements for non-standard examinations and determine appropriate technical factors
• Participate in call rotation, with a minimum of 10 days per month including holiday rotation

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in performing adult echocardiographic studies including transthoracic and stress echocardiograms
• Experience assisting with transesophageal echocardiography
• Ability to provide preliminary diagnostic interpretation and communicate findings to cardiologists
• Willingness and availability to participate in on-call rotation, including holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience performing non-standard echocardiographic examinations in collaboration with cardiologists
• Familiarity working within a structured departmental environment under the direction of providers and department managers
