Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Manage a patient assignment with ratios of 1:4–5
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms as part of ongoing patient assessment
• Float within service line between two campuses as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – Illinois license in hand required at time of submittal; compact license must match permanent residence
• Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg, Cardiac, or Telemetry nursing experience
• ACLS certification required
• BCLS (BLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility – no local candidates accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records charting system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Med-Surg or Telemetry setting
