Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: 07/06/2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients in accordance with approved medical staff protocols and department policies
- Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures including intubations and arterial line insertion
- Manage mechanical ventilators and maintain patient airways
- Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas and perform blood gas analysis
- Conduct pulmonary function studies and cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
Required Qualifications
- Active NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
- Active Florida Respiratory Therapist (RT) state license required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical respiratory therapy experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel therapy experience preferred
- Experience working in a long-term acute care (LTAC) or specialty hospital setting
