Key Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac surgical nursing care within the Operating Room setting
• Serve as a Circulating Nurse for cardiac and general surgical procedures
• Care for a diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients
• Collaborate with a variety of provider specialties to support both same-day discharge and inpatient admission cases
• Support procedural sedation patients throughout the perioperative process

Required Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR, or completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing program
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in an ICU, PCU, and/or medical/surgical acute care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• One (1) or more years of CVOR / Open Heart experience
• ICU background
• Scrubbing experience in the OR
