Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 48 Hours Per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a short-term acute care, Level I Trauma Center setting
• Operate within a team nursing model, collaborating with LPNs and medication nurses to manage a shared patient caseload
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in alignment with unit protocols
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as needed
• Float between like units and campuses as required to support staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a valid Compact (NLC) license — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience (strictly enforced)
• At least one completed prior travel nursing assignment
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• Current BLS certification (must be active throughout the duration of the assignment)
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of Medical Surgical experience preferred
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• ADN accepted; BSN not required for this position
