Licensed Practical Nurse – Geriatrics (LPN)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 8-hour shifts) | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to geriatric residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document resident health status, changes in condition, and care outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized resident care plans
- Ensure compliance with applicable state, federal, and facility regulations governing long-term care
Required Qualifications
- Active North Carolina LPN license or valid compact state license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of prior LPN experience in a geriatric care setting
- Must be a local candidate
- No new graduates considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) electronic health records system
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
