Surgical Technologist – Surgical Services

Contract | Variable Shifts (8s, 10s, or 12s) | Days | On-Call Required | Weekend and Holiday Coverage Required

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical procedures including neurosurgery, spine, complex orthopedic/orthopedic spine, and complex general surgery including bariatric cases
• Participate in on-call rotation Monday through Friday and provide weekend shift coverage as scheduled
• Support holiday and weekend coverage based on unit needs
• Maintain sterile field and assist surgical team throughout operative procedures
• Adhere to all surgical services protocols and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of surgical technologist experience required
• Experience in a Level I Trauma and Neurosurgery environment required
• Experience in neurosurgery, spine, complex orthopedic/orthopedic spine, and complex general surgery including bariatric surgery required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Must be willing and able to fulfill on-call and weekend requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel assignment experience preferred
• Experience with Epic electronic health records preferred
• Experience in ENT, GU, plastics, or burns preferred
