Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
• Manage a patient ratio of approximately 1 nurse to 5 patients
• Perform IV starts and conduct telemetry monitoring
• Utilize Epic for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license – compact or Ohio state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a PCU or equivalent setting
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Must be willing to comply with all credentialing requirements, including Ohio fingerprinting, promptly upon contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
