Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and analyze data to determine diagnoses, expected outcomes, and individualized plans of care
- Implement and evaluate patient-specific care plans, employing strategies to promote health and maintain a safe environment
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members in the delivery of nursing care
- Integrate ethical provisions, current research findings, and evidence-based practices into all areas of nursing practice
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the development of peers and colleagues
- Comply with policies, procedures, and protocols related to hyperacute and acute stroke care, including required cerebrovascular disease education
Required Qualifications
- Active Montana Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Provider certification
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience in NICU, Labor & Delivery, Emergency Department, or Intensive Care
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong emotional intelligence with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Self-directed with the ability to complete assignments accurately and with minimal oversight
