Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy assistant services to patients within a skilled nursing facility.
- Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and report to supervising therapists.
- Support patient engagement during therapy sessions to promote recovery and independence.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or certification.
- Ability to work in a healthcare setting with a focus on elderly or disabled populations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care and safety.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Familiarity with therapy tools and documentation software.
