Travel Registered Nurse – Freestanding Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract – Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency department setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across the acuity spectrum
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient treatment
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Respond to rapidly changing patient conditions and prioritize care in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a high-volume emergency care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience in a freestanding or standalone emergency department
• Familiarity with trauma and high-acuity emergency patient populations
