Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a high-volume operating room environment with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a broad range of surgical service lines including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma
- Utilize electronic documentation systems (Cerner) to accurately record patient care activities
- Adhere to variable scheduling requirements, including on-call obligations as needed
- Float to other departments as required per facility floating policy
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- Skill level of 3 or higher in Joint, Neuro, Ortho, and Vascular — no exceptions
- Broad surgical knowledge across multiple service lines
- Proficiency with Cerner or comparable electronic health record documentation system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in robotic surgery programs
- Background in burn and trauma surgical services
- Familiarity with high-acuity, high-volume regional referral center environments
