Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Saturday & Sunday 5:00 AM–5:30 PM, Monday 5:00 PM–5:30 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound/sonography exams including abdominal, vascular (renal transplant, liver Doppler/TIPPS evaluation), and limited OB studies (greater than 14 weeks and first trimester on occasion)
• Conduct procedures including liver elastography (outpatient setting only), biopsies (liver, soft tissue, kidney, thyroid FNA), and occasional drainages and aspirations
• Perform paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures on Saturday and Sunday for inpatient and ED patients
• Operate portable ultrasound equipment and utilize PACS systems for image management and interpretation support
• Collaborate within a Level 2 Trauma Center environment, working alongside a team of day-shift and evening/night-shift technologists
• Float to other system facilities as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sonography experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
• Active ARDMS or ARRT Sonography certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required
• Experience with PACS systems and portable ultrasound equipment required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted); valid driver's license required at time of submission to confirm address

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARDMS Abdomen (AB) and ARDMS OB/GYN (OB) certifications preferred
• Experience with InteleRad PACS preferred
• Experience with Siemens ultrasound equipment preferred
