Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health records
- Monitor and respond to telemetry readings and patient status changes as needed
- Float to other Medical/Surgical units as needed based on staffing requirements
- Adhere to holiday and weekend scheduling requirements as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- Proficiency with EPIC charting
- Passing score of 80% or higher on EKG assessment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Telemetry (TELE) nursing background
- Experience floating across multiple Medical/Surgical units
