Contract | Days/Nights Rotating | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day Shift: 7:00–19:30 | Night Shift: 19:00–7:30

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for oncology patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring related to chemotherapy administration
• Support patients with soft tissue malignancies receiving diagnostic services, chemotherapy, and symptom management
• Manage symptoms secondary to disease-related treatment or progression, including comorbidity management
• Implement and maintain infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention measures
• Operate specialized equipment including telemetry monitoring systems, bladder scanners, infusion pumps, and specialty beds
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed based on staffing priorities

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – valid compact or state license required at time of submission; must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Demonstrated skills in: dysrhythmia interpretation, port access, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, PICC line management, IV insertion, assistance with chest tube insertion/removal, high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), and ABG interpretation
• Must comply with Ohio fingerprinting requirements promptly upon contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience preferred but not required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
