- Travel, Days, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 5 shifts per week, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient physical therapy care to orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general medical/surgical patients
- Deliver therapy treatments utilizing equipment such as beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, and exercise bikes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including director, lead PT, therapists, and assistants
- Document patient progress in the electronic medical record system (Meditech)
- Participate in patient assessments, develop care plans, and ensure optimal recovery outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year recent hospital acute care, inpatient rehab, or SNF experience
- Valid state license or eligible to practice as a physical therapist
- Ability to work flexible day shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
- Experience working in a 42-bed inpatient rehab unit
- Strong critical thinking, patient care, and teamwork skills
- Excellent time management and care documentation skills
