Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Days (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Expected 40 hours/week | Weekend rotation required
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans within an inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Provide therapeutic exercise (TherEx), gait training, and functional training
- Assist patients with ADLs and transfers
- Deliver family and patient education to support recovery and discharge goals
- Utilize typical IPR gym equipment including balance and gait systems
- Document patient care using Meditech (Expanse) electronic documentation system
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of Florida
- BLS certification required
- Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Ability to work a weekend rotation schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel therapy experience preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly and function independently in a new or evolving unit environment
- Familiarity with Meditech (Expanse) documentation platform
