Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (12-Hour Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Major Holidays Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit setting with a focus on high-acuity patients
- Monitor and manage patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and advanced interventions
- Administer and titrate high-acuity drips as ordered by the care team
- Manage and monitor arterial lines and assist with BiPAP/Airvo therapy as needed
- Float to lesser acuity units as needed based on staffing requirements
- Complete required orientation activities including facility-wide and unit-specific clinical orientation
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of PCU RN experience
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Must be a non-nicotine user in compliance with facility policy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with high-acuity drip management
- Experience with arterial line monitoring and management
- Experience with BiPAP and Airvo respiratory support equipment
