Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-Hour Shifts) | Every 3rd Weekend Required | Holiday Requirements Apply (1 Major, 1 Minor)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes
• Care for a diverse ICU patient population, which may include cardiothoracic surgery (CTS) and neurological patients
• Float to the Stepdown/PCU unit as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Utilize the Altera Sunrise (formerly Allscripts) electronic medical records system for documentation and patient management
• Participate in on-call obligations, including push-back and cancellation based on census and staffing levels

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU RN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Must be willing to comply with a nicotine-free facility policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ICU experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center
• Experience with cardiothoracic surgery (CTS) and neurological patient populations
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
