Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner
• Monitor and interpret EKG rhythms, including lethal arrhythmias
• Float to competent units within the facility as needed
• Complete required ED-specific CEUs including stroke, trauma, and cardiac modules in a timely manner
• Complete all assigned HealthStream modules prior to start and throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Missouri RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cerner experience required — no exceptions
• Prior travel nursing experience required — no exceptions; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Current (not pending) AHA certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, and TNCC
• Must pass an EKG exam on orientation day with a score of 80% or higher, covering lethal rhythms

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating to multiple units within an acute care facility
• Familiarity with ED-specific CEU requirements including stroke, trauma, and cardiac continuing education
