Cath Lab Technician (Radiology / Cardiology)

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00–17:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties specializing in the cardiac catheterization laboratory
• Assist with cardiac cath and electrophysiology procedures in a short-term acute care setting
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for clinical documentation
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within the health system
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by the department
• Complete required pre-start and annual compliance modules in a timely manner via SilkRoad

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of experience in a Cath Lab specialty setting
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (no pending certifications accepted)
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) required within 12 months of start date
• Must pass facility EKG and Pharmacology tests during orientation (2 attempts maximum, no remediation)
• No pending licenses accepted; clean license history required
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; no additions will be accepted after submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of Cath Lab experience preferred
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT) certification preferred
• Prior experience floating across multiple hospital facilities within a health system
