Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an oncology-focused Med Surg unit within a short-term acute care facility
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for oncology and medical-surgical patients
- Accurately document patient information and care activities using EPIC electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Monitor patient status throughout the shift and respond appropriately to changes in condition
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington (pending licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience
- Oncology nursing experience required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency or ability to work with EPIC charting system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred
- Med Surg experience, particularly at the 3-year level, is preferred
