Key Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies in an outpatient oncology setting while adhering to cancer care policies, nursing procedures, and infection control standards
• Perform comprehensive health history assessments, address physician orders, and manage cancer-related symptoms
• Monitor patients through frequent visits evaluating both physical condition and emotional well-being
• Provide patient and family education related to oncology treatments, procedures, and care plans
• Serve as the primary communication conduit between patients and physicians, relaying patient information and feedback in a timely manner
• Apply clinical knowledge, judgment, and decision-making skills to analyze and act on patient care issues as directed by Cancer Care leadership

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of chemotherapy administration experience
• ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an outpatient oncology or infusion clinic environment
• Strong patient and family education skills within an oncology care setting
