Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed ICU/CCU unit maintaining a 1:2 RN-to-patient ratio
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including cardiac monitors, ventilators, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps
- Assist with and support procedures including intubations and central line placement
- Collaborate with charge nurses, fellow RNs, and patient care technicians across day shift operations
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic medical records system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1–2 years of current acute care ICU hospital experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado or compact state eligibility
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with medical ICU and neurological patient populations
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
