Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance services to a diverse patient population including adults, geriatric, and adolescent age groups
- Manage approximately 55 patient visits per week across a broad range of orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions
- Perform case management and fall risk assessments as part of the care delivery process
- Treat conditions including but not limited to back pain, rotator cuff injuries, total joint replacement, disc herniation, osteoarthritis, fractures, and postural dysfunction
- Document patient care and progress utilizing NextGen electronic health records system
- Optionally support treatment of vestibular disorders, Parkinson's Disease, CVA, and concussion cases
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Delaware or eligibility to obtain
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Experience treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions across multiple body regions
- Proficiency or ability to quickly learn NextGen EMR system
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload of approximately 55 visits per week
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with vestibular rehabilitation, Parkinson's Disease, CVA, or concussion management
- Familiarity with fall risk assessment protocols and case management practices
- Experience working with geriatric populations in an outpatient clinical setting
