Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a rehabilitation unit, managing a caseload appropriate to acuity level
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using the EPIC electronic medical record system

• Participate in shift handoff communication, ensuring timely and thorough transfer of patient information to oncoming staff
• Float to other units within comparable acuity levels as needed to support staffing requirements
• Adhere to holiday and weekend rotation requirements, including every-other holiday and every third weekend
• Engage charge nurses and nurse leadership promptly when assistance is needed, including during codes, rapid response events, or significant clinical situations near shift change

Required Qualifications

• Active Delaware RN license or valid Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in rehabilitation nursing — no exceptions
• Recent hands-on experience with EPIC EMR — required
• Current certifications as applicable to the specialty (must be provided with submission)
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts with no block scheduling

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation center or acute rehab unit
• Familiarity with float protocols across varying acuity levels
