Key Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for providing expert, compassionate, and individualized nursing care for patients and their families
• Oversees daily patient flow to optimize patient care, safety, and satisfaction
• Administers medications, performs treatments, and assists in procedures while consistently adhering to patient safety guidelines
• Delivers patient education to facilitate plan of care and promote optimal wellness
• Coordinates patient care with other care team members and external practices as needed to achieve the highest possible level of patient outcomes
• Demonstrates competent healthcare assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills while working independently with minimal supervision

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Must be HIPAA compliant
• Ability to delegate care appropriately and in accordance with Colorado statute

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an Operating Room or surgical nursing setting
• Familiarity with Relationship-Based Care principles and Just Culture organizational values
