Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Rotating Weekend Call
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including LHC, RHC, EP ablations, pacemaker and ICD implants, cardioversions, TEEs, and tilt table tests
- Operate and maintain Philips Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab, and CardioLab EP equipment in a 4-suite Cath/EP procedural environment
- Scrub and monitor during cardiac and EP procedures, including structural heart and right heart monitoring
- Maintain a 3:1 staff-to-patient ratio within an 8-bay holding and 4-suite procedural area
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including two weekends and 9–12 call days per 6-week period
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications
- ARRT (R) certification required
- RCIS or RCES certification required
- Candidates holding RCIS or RCES must be willing and able to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA prior to start date
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ARRT (CI) or (CV) certification preferred
- Demonstrated scrubbing and monitoring skills and experience
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
