Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Same Day Surgery unit encompassing PreOp, Pre-Admission Testing (PAT), and Phase II Recovery
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 in PreOp and PAT and 1:4 in Phase II Recovery
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including unit secretaries and Patient Care Technicians to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Utilize point-of-care technology including iMobile, EPOC, and Mobilab in daily clinical practice

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Florida or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of experience in PreOp, PAT, and/or Phase II Recovery — Phase II Recovery experience is required
• Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency with Meditech or comparable electronic health record system
• Ability to wear OR scrubs per unit dress code requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume Same Day Surgery or ambulatory surgical setting
• Familiarity with point-of-care tools such as EPOC and Mobilab
• Experience utilizing iMobile nursing technology in a clinical environment
