Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients within an acute care hospital setting, including a Level II Trauma Center environment
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to support functional recovery and independence
- Deliver direct patient care across assigned shifts, including every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis with facility staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and progress patient treatment goals
- Document patient assessments, progress, and outcomes in accordance with facility policies and standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in the state of Florida or eligibility to obtain
- Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with permanent staff
- Compliance with facility dress code and all applicable hospital policies
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a trauma center or acute care hospital setting
- Previous travel therapy assignment experience
