Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist – Travel Contract
Location
Panama City, Florida
Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with weekend rotation and on-call requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures in a fast-paced cath lab environment
- Operate and monitor specialized cardiovascular imaging and hemodynamic equipment throughout procedures
- Prepare and maintain the cath lab, including sterile field setup, instrument preparation, and equipment readiness
- Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and procedural data during cardiac interventions
- Participate in weekend rotation and on-call coverage as required by departmental scheduling
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards within the cardiac cath lab setting
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
- Current and valid applicable certification or licensure required for cardiac cath lab practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Demonstrated proficiency with cardiac catheterization procedures and hemodynamic monitoring
- Ability to fulfill on-call and weekend rotation obligations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume or accredited chest pain center environment
- Familiarity with primary PCI protocols and cardiovascular interventional procedures
- Prior travel assignment experience in a cath lab or cardiovascular services setting
