Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly (excluding on-call time) | Every Other Weekend Required | 2 Holiday Shifts Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with traumatic injuries and acute medical emergencies in a Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department
• Perform thorough patient assessments and accurately document care using Epic electronic health records
• Electronically record and administer medications in accordance with facility protocols
• Deliver timely, high-quality care across a large, state-of-the-art Emergency Department including fast-track, behavioral health, and private treatment areas
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to manage high-acuity patient populations requiring immediate intervention

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• Must not have been employed (permanent, per diem, or contract) with the hiring health system within the past 6 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume, large-scale Emergency Department setting
• Familiarity with behavioral health patient management within an ED environment
