Key Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed and planned courses of radiation therapy using radiation therapy equipment in accordance with established practices and standards
• Obtain patient history, answer patient questions, explain procedures, and monitor patients for unusual reactions or events during treatment
• Verify prescriptions, diagnoses, charts, and patient identification to ensure accurate treatment delivery
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment; position patients in prescribed anatomical positions and provide appropriate care for patients with life support devices
• Prepare and maintain electronic and written documentation including treatment plans, progress reports, and evaluation results
• Schedule patients for treatments and collaborate with physicists, physicians, nurses, dieticians, and social workers as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate's degree in radiography with a certification in radiation therapy
• Graduate of a JRCERT-approved program registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy
• Active ARRT license in Radiation Therapy
• State of Ohio Radiation Therapist license (preferred upon submission)
• Current CPR certification
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy
• 1–2 years of radiation therapy clinical experience
• Experience with TrueBeam and ARIA systems
