Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (5x8 Hours, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for individuals with hematologic malignancies including multiple myeloma, chronic leukemia, lymphoma, and pre/post BMT and CAR-T transplant patients
• Administer chemotherapy, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, insulin drips, and heparin drips
• Perform peripheral IV placement, central line and PICC line blood draws, port access, and line dressings
• Recognize and respond to oncologic emergencies such as tumor lysis syndrome and cytokine release syndrome
• Perform EKGs and administer injections and immunizations
• Maintain strict infection prevention protocols and implement patient fall prevention measures; document all care using electronic charting (Epic)

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency in IV therapy and phlebotomy, including peripheral IV starts, central line blood draws, PICC line management, and blood product administration
• Experience with computerized charting; Epic proficiency required
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Ability to comply with Ohio fingerprinting requirements promptly upon contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior oncology nursing experience, particularly in hematologic malignancies or bone marrow transplant settings
• Familiarity with oncologic emergency management including cytokine release syndrome and tumor lysis syndrome
