XR/CT Technologist – Weekend Nights

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Friday, Saturday, and Sunday | 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM | 36 Hours Per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-Ray and CT imaging procedures using proper positioning, technique, and protocols
• Cover both XR and CT modalities independently during weekend night shifts
• Review provider orders for appropriateness and communicate with providers and radiologists as needed
• Administer contrast according to site-specific protocols and within scope of practice, completing required consent documentation when applicable
• Evaluate images for technical quality and complete accurate documentation in the electronic health record
• Transport and assist patients safely using wheelchairs, stretchers, and hospital beds while following radiation safety practices and National Patient Safety Goals

Required Qualifications

• Current ARRT Radiography registry
• Current ARRT CT registry
• Current AHA BLS certification for healthcare providers
• Minimum of three years of clinical imaging experience performing both X-Ray and CT exams
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records
• Ability to work independently during weekend night shifts in a hospital environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a rural hospital, critical access hospital, or emergency imaging setting
